Is the title confusing? Yeah? Okay, good. We didn’t really know how to start this off either, so I guess we’ll just wing it.

Once upon a time, Deryck Whibley and Avril Lavigne were married. Not too long ago, Lavigne dumped Whibley and divorced him.

Sound normal? Yeah, it’s marriage, right? Well, Whibley has never really gotten over the whole dumping thing. Or at least so he implies.

Recently at a Halloween party, Whibley dressed up as his ex-wife, and had a close friend of his dress up as Chad Kroeger, Lavigne’s new fiance. The image itself is hilarious, but we think Chad Kroeger is the winner here with his response.

Now, of course it seems all in good nature. That’s good. Because whether you like Nickelback or not, if this whole thing were to be serious, Whibley would look a bit obsessive, and Kroeger just won.
